Art - Dye and Vivid Flowers

Room 15 have been working on creating dye and vivid flowers. First we used hot and cold colours with dye to create our flowers. We then practiced our patterns. Today we have started to put patterns onto our flowers. They are looking great.

Angelah and Jade have both used hot colours for their flowers.

Xavier and Jacob have picked cool colours for their flowers while Max has used the cool colours in his background.

Dream Documents

Dream Documents have gone home today. Put these somewhere safe and visible, so that you are always referring back to them. Have a lovely weekend, keep safe and out of the nasty weather that is heading our way.

Swimming Today

We had fun swimming today. It was a little cold!

Chopper Challenge - Westpac Rescue Helicopter

Our last Chopper Challenge session will be next Thursday (Week 7). Keep up the fantastic funding raising efforts, remember it goes to a very good cause. You can start bringing in your money from the 21st March. We haven't a date for the Prizing Giving yet, however it will be after the 21st March sometime.

Procedural Writing

Today we had to write instructions for our Alien friend who was lost. He had to find his way around our school. 

We needed to make our instructions clear and accurate so that the Alien would not get lost.

We are following Angelah, Jagger, Chazz and Monique's instructions to find the Hidden Garden.

We made it! We didn't even get lost!

Week 6

Doesn't the time fly when you're having fun. I can't believe we are heading into Week 6 already.
We have a busy week ahead, with some PAT Testing.
Get plenty of sleep and come to school ready to try your best, remember that is all I wish for.
Remember to bring your swimming togs to school on Tuesday and Friday. We probably only have a couple of weeks of good weather left so lets make the most of it.
