This week these two reading groups have been reading about an amazing animal. Scientists have discovered a multi-celled animal living in the depths of the Mediterranean Sea. This Loricifera doesn't need oxygen to live, so scientists are researching how these creatures can survive in such a harsh environment.
We went on to discuss what attributes animals have that allow them to adapt and survive.
We discussed the word "hybrid" and completed a follow up activity that evolved creating our own hybrid animals with super abilities.
The new hybrids were presented using posters, i-movie trailers, book creator, and key note. These were very creative and informative.
